Surgeries I've had: Tonsil, Breast Tumor, Head, Gum, and Thyroid Cancer

Surgeries I've had: Tonsil, Breast Tumor, Head, Gum, and Thyroid Cancer

Several major surgeries have occurred to me:

* My Tonsil was removed from my throat when I was a teenager to treat an infection in that area. I forget how old I was at the time of the surgery.

* In 2000, a Benign Breast Tumor was removed from the top of my right breast. My right breast is still full, but it's several inches smaller than my left breast because the upper flesh of my right breast was removed along with the tumor. Because of this, I now regularly perform my own Breast Check.

* In 2018, I had surgery on my Head and I was in a coma for three days after falling off a motorcycle. I was wearing a helmet, but my head was still injured. Even though my head and body suffered severe, serious, and dangerous injuries, I still believe the helmet saved my life. I am also happy that my brain and head are recovering remarkably well. Currently, I must maintain my brain health by avoiding even the slightest impact on my head. I also have to manage stress well.

* A few months after the accident in 2018, a dentist underwent minor surgery on the Nerves in my Upper Gum to treat the pain and swelling in the gums. The pain and swelling in the nerves in my gum were most likely an indirect result of the 2018 motorcycle accident that resulted in a head injury. A hard blow to the head often travels to the facial bones and jaw, causing nerve inflammation that triggers pain and swelling several months later.

* In 2026, a surgery to remove two lumps (biopsies) from my Thyroid was performed in June 2026, and total surgery to remove Stage 2 Thyroid Cancer was performed in August 2026. Because my entire Thyroid Gland was removed, my body developed absolute Hypothyroidism (no Natural Thyroid Hormone). To replace the removed thyroid, I had to take Levothyroxine.  If I don't take Levothyroxine, my body becomes weak, I can't think, my heartbeat slows, and so on. I also have to take Lactas Calcicus to relieve cramps and tingling. I have to have my blood tested periodically to ensure the Levothyroxine dosage is correct. The area where I underwent Thyroid Cancer Surgery also needs to be monitored regularly.

I'm still happy that I'm still alive. I know that I must fight to stay alive, especially since I have undergone Head Surgery and have suffered from a Breast Tumor and Thyroid Cancer. I hope I can keep fighting so that I may live a life of tranquility, peace, and security.
